This is my old beat to all hell pair of Vibram Five Fingers. I have a few other newer pairs, but I can not seem to let go of these. Holes stitched back up on the toes and all.

Day 99 of 365 – Babysitting
Day 98 of 365 – Providence bound
It seems like every other day or so I am driving up to Providence, RI to hang out with my friends. I hope to move back in to the city soon, but for now this is my almost daily view. I had this idea while driving so I took the first exit, pulled over, and set my tripod up in the back seat. After a bunch of fidgeting and adjusting I had a shot framed and settings that I HOPED would work out. I then triggered the camera every few minutes when the surrounding lighting looked interesting.
Day 97 of 365 – Hanging around
Dan Riti gave me the idea for this photo. He saw this on Tumblr somewhere and sent it over to me, as soon as I saw it, I decided I had to give this a shot. We could have done a better job posing, but since I was in the photo I had to get the models set up, set the timer, then run in to position. This made this shot a bit chaotic to get done. I was on a time constraint as well since one of my models had to poop.

Day 94 of 365 – Tig & Bean
UPDATE
I am re-posting Thursday’s 365 entry with a different photo taken on the same day. I feel the editing on my first photo was rushed, and it was. I was already a day late posting the original photo and I just wanted to get it done when I got home from work. Anyway, here is my new 365 entry from the same night as the original.
I went down to Local 121 in Providence, RI last night to see Tig & Bean. I figured getting a photo of the amazing Caroline Hecht would be a great addition to this project. The lighting situation was challenging as all heck in there, and it was packed like sardines, but I did my best to get the shot. More photos from this night will be posted when I have a chance.
You can view the original photo which was not very sharp to begin with here. It suffered from me over editing, over sharpening, and just rushing in general. Lesson learned – stop rushing the project. As long as the photo is taken on it’s respective day, I’ll post it when it has been properly reviewed and edited.
Day 93 of 365 – Candle
Day 92 of 365 – Mars Sky
Day 91 of 365 – Headshot!
Some of my friends know that I am about to embark on a really exciting business opportunity with the help of the good people at Google. One of the things I needed to get done today was a headshot. I had planned on doing something really cool and creative for today’s 365, but this portrait project took up way too much time. I tried my best to get everything done correctly in camera and control the light as best as I could to avoid much post-processing. It’s not perfect, but I feel it looks at least semi-professional. It is so hard to get a good angle and facial expression when you are taking the photo yourself!
Day 90 of 365 – Late night rides
Sunday was a day of re-cooperation from celebrating a friends birthday on Saturday night. I tried to get a few shots but it was raining and I had 0 energy. I did take a bunch of photos early Sunday morning in Dennis’s car with my fish-eye lens on the way to Denny’s for bad food decisions, and decided to roll with one of those photos for Sunday’s 365. This is the effect caused by using the lens profile corrections in Lightroom with the Sigma 8mm. This is a more experimental photo, which I have been lacking in this project and think I may have to get a bit more experimental in the future.
I once hated on the fish-eye lens because it seemed most people I knew that used them, really over did it. It kind of made the effect seem so played-out to me, now I am a huge fan of the new way the lens makes you look at the world in front of you.
Day 89 of 365 – Fisheye
I just picked up a Sigma 8mm Fisheye lens for another job I am starting in a few weeks. I decided to take it out and play with it for my 365 project. This shot was my favorite for the day, it kind of looks like a bug eye. I really don’t see myself using this lens often outside of the job I will be doing, but it sure is fun to play with.
Day 88 of 365 – USA Kicks Ass
In honor of the United States of America Olympic teams kicking some serious ass, me and some beer-drinking pals put this image together in front Congress bar on Orange Street in Providence. I screwed up my circle a bit since i had to click the shutter and run in to position before the camera took the shot. Technically, not a great photo, but we had fun making this shot while burning through 4-5 packages of sparklers.
Go team USA!
Day 87 of 365 – Big Moon in Boston
I went to hang out with my friend Aaron in Boston today so I knew I had to take my 365 there. We went to check out the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art and then we got some dinner over at Charlies Kitchen in Harvard Square, the vegetarian Ruben sandwich was phenomenal! Anyway, I asked Aaron to take me somewhere where I could get a nice shot of the Boston Skyline, and the moon was bright and HUGE. I left my tripod in my car but Aaron was nice enough to lend me his to take the shots, it was a little windy and I got some slight motion blur on the buildings. This is multiple images and multiple exposures. The moon section was also zoomed in with my 300mm lens for a more dramatic event.
Day 86 of 365 – Avocado Snacks
When I tried my move to Yosemite National Park, I stayed in San Francisco with my buddy Andrew Danielson who is an absolutely amazing artist you should check out here: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/andrew-danielsen.html. Andrew told me about this avocado snack he likes to make for himself. You just fill an avocado with any toppings you would like and eat it right out of the shell. I like it with salsa, little bit of lime juice and some Adobo.
Day 85 of 365 – Washed Wallet
I tried to get creative with today’s 365. I wanted to make an image that told a story and I had to do laundry, so I came up with this.
One flash inside the washing machine set at 1/32 power with a diffuser, another flash set at 1/64 outside of the washer to light up my face. Ideally I would have loved to have a 3rd flash for the other side of my face, but I made due with what I had. Camera was triggered remotely by the trigger in my left hand.
Day 84 of 365 – Nuts N Berries
Day 83 of 365 – Lights
I spent all day Sunday editing photos from Saturday, so I had pretty much no time to dedicate to my 365. This seems to be an on-going theme with Sunday’s after working Saturday’s at DGAF. Here is a close up of a light bulb. Nothing to special here, but I did almost go blind when trying to focus on this thing.
Day 82 of 365 – Mask
Dayt 81 of 365 – City Reflections
I went out looking for my 365 well after the sun had gone down and just so happened to leave my tripod at home. I was hanging out with friends in downtown Providence and I didn’t want to walk around with my flash on my camera and only had my big ass camera bag. I limited myself to just the camera without the tripod or the flash so I had to try and get creative. This was taken on Washington Street in Providence with my camera resting on the hood of my friends car. I thought the reflections from the building on the roof of his car kind of looked like a landscape photo or painting with a water reflection.
