I spent all day Sunday editing photos from Saturday, so I had pretty much no time to dedicate to my 365. This seems to be an on-going theme with Sunday’s after working Saturday’s at DGAF. Here is a close up of a light bulb. Nothing to special here, but I did almost go blind when trying to focus on this thing.

I went out looking for my 365 well after the sun had gone down and just so happened to leave my tripod at home. I was hanging out with friends in downtown Providence and I didn’t want to walk around with my flash on my camera and only had my big ass camera bag. I limited myself to just the camera without the tripod or the flash so I had to try and get creative. This was taken on Washington Street in Providence with my camera resting on the hood of my friends car. I thought the reflections from the building on the roof of his car kind of looked like a landscape photo or painting with a water reflection.

Here is my weird eyeball. I did the best I could with the lens and lighting I currently have, I will definitely try this again with someone else’s eye and a ring flash soon.

After spending 2 days editing photos from A Mid Summer Night’s Rave, I needed to get out of the house for some Guacamole and beer. This is picture of the beers I consumed with two awesome friends.

This is another photo from A Mid-Summer Night’s Rave. The girl on the trampoline is just one of the new good people I met that night, there where too many good vibes to not post two pictures from this event in to my 365 project. The full album from the night should be posted by Sunday evening.

This used to be one of the projects in Fall River, MA, now it’s the boarded up ‘jects. It feels really dark, gloomy, and just… depressing over there. I tried to make the photo show that feeling.

This is how excited I get when I go in to the fridge for a Naked fruit juice smoothie. Nothing much else to say besides that! Big thanks to whoever it was that suggested I take a photo of what was in my fridge.

I am not even sure what to call that effect you see in the sky, a ray cast by the sun? Shadows from the cooling towers? I do know the sky looked too freaking cool not to try and photograph. Those damn cooling towers are showing up in too many of these 365’s, I need some new scenery! No HDR’ing or anything this time, just a straight shot of the sky.

I was commissioned by a friend to photograph some new products for his store and was tied up working on his project after I left work, so I didn’t have much time to put in to a 365 photo. I did have to get really creative with the lighting to get the look I was aiming for, so I figured it would make a decent 365 addition. The ornaments where hung 2-3 feet in front of a lit up Christmas tree, then the ornaments where lit up from each side with 2 off camera strobes. There where also 2 incandescent lights, one below the ornaments and one shining on the tree to brighten up the deep tones a bit. Overall I am pretty pleased with the results from the first few products in this project.

When I am not out trying to be the next Ansel Adams, I pay the bills by taking photos of beautiful women and unbelievably drunk people at night clubs. Sometimes people ask to take a photo with me, for what reason I really do not know. Instead of flipping the camera around, I direct everyone to the glass mirror to take a photo with me. This is one of those photos taken with my lovely friend Casey.

I had to shoot DGAF on Saturday so I took a few random shots around the house before the gig just to make sure I had something for my 365. I expected to just use a DGAF photo but I did not take any I wanted to use as a 365 until after midnight. This really boring reverse-free lens shot of a windmill is gonna have to do for Saturday. I just gotta keep telling myself they can’t all be decent!

In my head, the lines and depth in this parking garage reminded me of level 2 in Contra for NES. Now that I look at it on the computer screen, it reminds me more of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

While I was driving home from Providence, RI after taking my day 65 photo, I notice the moon looked super close and an interesting color. I went over to an open parking lot in Fall River, MA around 1am and snapped a few shots. This was taken with my 300mm, 2 photos, one exposed for the moon and one exposed for the sky, merged in photoshop. I loved how the moon caused an interesting lens flare on the long exposure shot.
